WET WET WET !!!

I recently shot the wedding of Harriette & Malcolm at the beautiful  Secrets On The Lake at Montville.  The rain had set in for the day and there was no sign of it letting up before the ceremony, so the wet weather plan was used because the secret garden  was about 2 inches under water.  Both Harriette & Malcolm went with the flow (Pardon the Pun) and were determined not to let a lot of rain ruin the biggest day of their life.  I applaud you both!!

It was a beautiful ceremony with lots of tears of happiness and joy.

The weather was looking a little glum for the afternoon, but with my very trusty assistant Ben in tow we headed off to Rydges in Southbank to meet up with the girls for a few shots.  Well it was go go from there with a dash to see the boys before the ceremony that was held at St Agatha’s Catholic Church, Clayfield. Anita was spot on time to get the proceedings underway and then after the group and family photos we all headed off for a few location photos in and around Southbank, before ending up at the River Room for the reception.

This is when it started to bucket down big time, so it was lucky we could take shelter under the Victoria St bridge and get a few shots in the process.

Guys what a fantastic day, it was well enjoyed by all.

I recently shot this lovely wedding for Agata & Julyan, and I knew from the first moment it was going to be fun. Kick off was with the girls at the Marriott Hotel and then over to meet up with Julyan for a few shots before the ceremony that was held at the Mt-Cootha Botanical gardens. Apart from some of the more traditional photos these guys wanted something different, and as you will see from what was blogged they had FUN FUN FUN !!!!

I recently had the pleasure of shooting the wonderful wedding of Tara and Tyson down the Gold Coast on New Years Eve.  It had been very wet for most of the week leading up to the big day, but with everyone crossing their fingers it turned out not to bad for most of the day. The ceremony was held at the most beautiful private residence on the canal, and after family and friends photos we headed out for a few location shots around the Gold Coast.

We headed back to the reception at the Evergreen Restaurant in Bundall for a few more photo’s before I headed off to celebrate New Year Eve myself.

It was a very early start for us this morning with a bid day ahead, and the first stop was Highgate Hill where Ariel and the bridesmaids were getting ready.  Being a Chinese wedding there was the traditional tea ceremony with Ariel’s parents, before heading off to New Farm for the tea ceremony with Winson’s family.  Then it was off to the Albert St Uniting Church for the ceremony and then many location photos before heading back to Conrad’s Treasury for the reception.  Here are some of the photo’s I took on the day as second shooter for Ben Clark Photography!!!
